While working in the stock industry, Matt Spent many years performing high-end retouching and logo removal as well as content creation.

For the last five years he has been the Senior Photo editor for the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation. His Role within the foundation was more of a Director of Photography where he was responsible for acquiring and managing a high volume of diverse photography assets and services across the foundation in an often fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities. As the Senior Editor he also acted as the in-house photojournalist for the foundation.
