He photographed the Lebanese war, was in Eastern Europe to capture the fall of communism on film, and covered the crisis in Yugoslavia during the early days of the Balkan conflict.
Over the years, Souheil has developed a reputation as one of the region's best and most innovative photographers.
Experience in the field has allowed Souheil to inject vital creativity into his studio work. He has expanded since then to being an international photographer, covering assignments all over the world with international brands such as: Boeing, Airbus, Nissan, Toyota, Daimler Chrysler, Porsche, Duracell, vitel, Perrier, Gulf Air, Lipton, Philips, Hershey's, Radisson, Park Inn hotels, Holiday inn, Knoll, Premiere Inn, Armani, Hellena Rubinstein, Lancôme, Revlon, Emaar, Emirates airlines, Damas, Abudhabi Government, Dubai Government, Yemen Government, Oman Government, Mac Dermott, Cartier, Chopard, ... and the list goes on .
Souheil has worked with most of the advertising agencies in the region and beyond. He has been selected to be one of the few worldwide professional photographers representing the SANDISK brand, creating together the SANDISK extreme team. He has also been selected, for the first time in NIKON history, to be one of the "non Japanese" judges for their international competition, Nikon Judges have always been from Japan, until then. He has also been selected to be the Brand evangelist of PhaseOne in the region.
Souheil is also a founder member of the mepp, a program created to guide and help photographers ethically and in terms of copyrights, mepp was launched in January 12 2007 through an exhibition that evolved 25 of the most talented photographers in the Gulf.
Souheil also lectures at universities across the Middle East, North Africa and Europe and is frequently commissioned by professional photographers to hold private seminars and workshops. He has worked with many governments, helping them, through his pictures, promote or showcase some points to either develop or remind the country of its existence.
