In 2004, he published a book entitled Mask: the West Indian American Carnival the first photography book documenting the West Indian American carnival in the U.S. and Canada. In 2006, he began freelancing at Goldmark Studio where he shoots high end jewelry for catalogues and advertisements. In 2007 he launched Complexion Magazine which showcases the rich diversity in American fashion and music. Since 2009 he has worked as a fashion photographer with E-fashion Solutions where he shoots for companies including DKNY, Lacoste, eBay Fashion, Annie Sez, Mandee, Ben Sherman, Sean John, Rocawear , Baby Phat, Dereon, Ashley Stewart, Stein Mart, Playboy Shop, . His fine art work has been featured in museum exhibits including the Queens Museum of Art. Lourenso’s advertising photographs have been featured in numerous magazines including Vogue, GQ, Harper Bazaar, Hamptons Magazine and Martha Stewart Living.
