My other interests over the years have been as diverse as my photographic background: hiking, gardening, swimming, cycling, running, tennis and triathlons! I began photographing friends in rock bands in high school, head shots for beginning models, sunsets and flowers. My trip to Hawaii during winter break motivated me further; experimenting with underwater photography at Hanauma Bay, Oahu. Taking photos of modeling students led to working in the studios. Discovering triathlons in the early 80′s provided many travel photo opps. Marriage and family shifted my focus, especially as Heather and Lauren were growing up. Adopting digital photography and digital darkroon techniques in early 2000′s enabled me to experiment creatively without the expense of film. Even though I am in corporate financial planning, I spend much of my spare time shooting or planning projects. I hope you enjoy my expressions of life and love!
